OK it has been a while since my last post and a lot has happened. Since moving to the most wonderful place in the world I have gained permanent residency to live and work in Australia, my wife and I have had a beautiful Aussie baby girl named Darcey Mae who is 10 months old today and I have been working for the Western Australian Museum for the past 18 months.
Working as a key member of the small, dynamic online services team within the Museum, I have been involved in the design and development of a number of showcase websites including the HMAS Sydney (II) website, the award-winning Nick Cave exhibition website, the recent Pompeii website and currently the major redesign of the Museums own website.
Whilst working at the Museum I have also invested a lot of time researching best practices within the web industry and in keeping my skills at the cutting edge of web design and development. Together with my previous knowledge and design background I have helped put the Museum at the forefront of web technology now and into the future.
